Part 1. Untitled_

W/S 2017
Iphone 5s photography, VSCO, writing, Ebay
Brooklyn, NY

(things)

Ebay repurposed as an interactive digital exhibition for photography and storytelling. 60 lots of clothing and accessories (approximately 110 items total) were posted for sale as a personal sacrifice to the internet gods. Ten years of fashion and mental burden released in exchange for clarity and a bountiful next decade. Duration of auction signified public opening and closing of exhibition. Mediums of choice were used to earmark Untitled_ within the selfie-culture era. Photos from unsold lots were posted on a separate digital platform (without conceptual writing). The equivalent of 8 garbage bags were donated to a women’s shelter in Brooklyn. Due to the live performance nature of Untitled_, screenshot viewings of the full series are currently only available by special request.

Part 2. Reread

F/W 2017
black fabrics, 35mm film photography, performance, writing
Peckham Library, London, UK

(people)

One time performance at public library. Each person’s ritual began with ujjayi breathing and a farewell monologue. Prayers for peace. Aaction of wrapping signified mourning; closure. Each book was then unwrapped like a present symbolizing gratitude, knowledge received, new beginnings and placed back on the shelf for someone else. Did you know photos are not allowed in London public libraries? Special thank you to Sangeeta, Natreema, Ali & Kenny

Interactive Intermission

Ongoing global participatory piece
kraft paper posters, locally sourced fabric, various recording devices

Part 3. Las Histoire Sanctorium

F/W 2017

(places)

Site-specific AR/VR exhibition proposal with spatial design inspired by cathedral floor plans and Broadway lights. Las Histoire Sanctorium demolishes personal attachments to geography-physical locations, channelling yearning into means for personal inspiration. This concept travels cities, designed specific to each library. Las Histoire Sanctorium brings awareness to public libraries by creating an unforgettable spiritual experience designed to reintroduce individuals to their local sanctuary. A holy house to one of human’s most valuable assets–knowledge.

Includes voluntary participation inviting the audience to share a tangible moment with books, mimicking the wrapping/unwrapping ritual from Noun Part 1. Combination of French and English used in title nods to the two significant cities in Noun Part 2, Paris and London.

Books, Coffee, Feet, Flower, Food, This Community Is For You Dave Dissertation

Referred to as Dave for short, this dissertation builds from conclusive learnings of the Realest thesis. Ennis embarks on a second journey that parallels internal and external discovery. Her first motive was to find a way to convert personal sexual energy into means of genuine connection with others–celibate. With Dave by her side, she birthed an alter-ego named 🎾ㅃ (tennisballbb). 🎾ㅃ is a spicy digital dominatrix who loves leaning into discomfort. She produces various mixed-media works to grow, such as Feet Fucking Food and Sensory Sculptures. 🎾ㅃ embodies characteristics Ennis works to merge back into her primary ego. Ennis also incorporates this "process of self through BDSM/fine art” into her women’s life coaching practice. At its highest level, Dave serves like a funhouse mirror to the landscape of modern art/sexuality, further twisting ideas whilst revealing concepts of self-induced boundaries. Subsequently, Dave becomes a conversation about the nature of duality.

Dedicated to Mr. Dave Chappelle for mutual adornment towards books, coffee, feet, flower & food–ie Ennis’ 5 Personal Elements of Connection.

Official Dave content has zero visual phallic/yonic content though it is discussed heavily in speech and writing.

Feet Fucking Food

Improv based performance series released in full seasons. Episodes are inspired by foodgasms, music, art, whatever turns 🎾ㅃ (tennisballbb) on. A character of duality, she loves dirty puns and advocates abstinence for mental/spiritual cleansing.

Viewers are recommended to binge watch. Episodes are complete with guest star appearances, directors, chefs, commercials and other television vernacular. Ennis writes accompanying captions that range from poetry to reviewing 🎾ㅃ’s growth as a #foodpornstar. She is identifiable by the version 1.0 tennis ball emoji tattooed on her inner right ankle.

Season One

12 Videos
Originally aired 2017-2018 as "Food & Feet"
Re-released April 2019 as "Feet Fucking Food"

Videos kept under 1 minute for Instagram feed. Food & Feet was broadcasted per episode to make room for audience interaction by monitoring comments and absorbing suggestions. 🎾ㅃ was discovering angles, lighting, timing when editing. Later in the season she began collaborating with guest participants. The series was renamed Feet Fucking Food and released with Season Two in 2019.

Season Two

13 Videos
April 2019

Video format changed to vertical orientation and longer durations (up to 30 minutes) for uploading on Instagram TV. Sponsored commercials added. Title graphics updated. 🎾ㅃ tries ASMR, speaking instead of using music and live streaming. Her personality is shown more through commentary.

Season Three

12 Videos
February 3, 2020

Transition off Instagram onto Youtube. 🎾ㅃ begins to find her worshippers. Videos become significantly longer, spanning from 10 minutes to 3 hours. More live streams, collaborations, fancier productions. This season started accompanying sculpture series, Sensory Sculptures.

The Movie

In production
Expected 2022

🎾ㅃ graduates to the big screen, continuing to learn about soft crushing. Documentary meets comedy musical with original soundtrack. She continues collaborating, now more on the music side with producers, songwriters, etc. Directing a feature length film, completely remote.

Rent or buy the raw footage from Feet Fucking Food. Watch without musical soundtracks for a heavenly ASMR experience. View from multiple camera angles. Go behind the scenes and preview Season Four before official release.
